Alexander Chapman "Alex" Ferguson, born 31 December 1941) is a Scottish football manager and former player who has managed Manchester United since 1986 – present. His contract has seen the club go through an era of success and dominance both in England and in Europe, giving Ferguson a reputation as one of the most admired and respected managers in the history of the game.
alex ferguson has won 48 titles managing clubs. first club managed by him was East Stirlingshire, which then lead him to moving to a first division team named st mirrens, then aberdeen then scotland international team.
He won 37 titles since he joined Manchester united. In 2010 he won his 12th English Premier League title. He also won FA Cup 5 times, League Cup 4 times, FA Community Shield 10 times, UEFA Champions League 2 times, UEFA Cup winner’s cup 1 time, UEFA Super Cup 1 time, Intercontinental Cup 1 time and FIFA Club World cup 1 time.

Manchester united is an English professional club, based in old Trafford in Greater Manchester. Manchester united was founded in 1878 and was called Newton heath; the clubs name has been changed as Manchester united in 1902 and moved to old Trafford in 1910.
